Ok babes, today’s the day! I’d like to formally introduce you all to my beautiful daughter, Ayla.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram stories (if you’re not, click here!), then you know our lives changed forever a few weeks ago 🙂 Ayla was born on Sunday, September 2nd. I had a pretty long labor (something I’ll be talking about next week so stay tuned!), and having her here has been the most surreal experience. So far, Ayla’s favorite things are nursing, diaper changes with daddy (they have a funny little routine they do), and crying LOL. She’s only six weeks old but she already has such a personality!

When Ayla was eight days old I took her for her first official photo shoot with Mikayla Nip Photography. Mikayla was so good with Ayla, even though she had an explosive poop all over her…she was also really difficult, she didn’t want to sleep AT ALL (I should have realized this was a foreshadowing of what was to come). I felt super comfortable having her handle my newborn baby as well, and let me tell you, as a new mom, that’s a rare feeling! Here are some of the photos from her newborn shoot!
Thank you for taking the time to welcome baby Ayla into the world! We are over the moon to have her here with us and have been spending the last six weeks just soaking up all her amazingness.
