If you ask me, every woman should have a red dress in her closet. It’s just as important as the traditional LBD, and perfect for date nights, weddings, parties, or even brunch! My favorite red dress is actually this little Astr the Label red lace dress. Astr the Label as a brand is definitely an investment, but we all know how important finding quality pieces are. This dress is definitely worth the money because of the quality and versatility, and here are two ways to style it, complete with pins you can save for later!

The Perfect Red Lace Dress
I actually found this Astr the Label red lace dress one super sale at Nordstrom Rack for $12! It was literally the only one left and you better believe I elbowed a lady out of the way to get to it haha (may or may not be kidding here…). I’m wearing a size large and it actually fits me perfectly, so I’d say to size up if you are ordering online.
Also, I’ve heard from a few other bloggers that there is a dupe for this Astr the Label dress on Amazon for under $30 (this dress is regularly $89). I haven’t tried it out myself, but here is the link if you are interested! From what I’ve heard, it runs true to size and is a great dupe!
Look #1 – Wedding Guest
The first way I styled this red lace dress would be perfect for a wedding or date night. It’s super simple, I just paired some nude block heeled sandals with a matching nude purse and some simple, chic earrings. This look is effortless, classy, and really easy to recreate with your own wardrobe because you can very easily wear any type of nude heel or flat, and a simple stud or hoop earring would look great for the accessory!
Look #2 – Brunch
The second way I styled this red lace dress is for a brunch date with the girls. I also think it would be perfect for a day of wine tasting as well though! Since the dress is midi length I definitely wanted to add length to my legs, so I wore my fave TOMS wedges. These are so comfortable, I can literally wear them all day without my feet hurting! Then I paired a denim jacket to dress it down and a fun sun hat to complete the look!
Other Ways to Style this Red Dress:
- Pair it with some white Keds!
- Knot a t-shirt over it and wear it as a skirt!
- Color-block with a contrasting color (yellow heels and purse instead of nude)
- Play with patterns (layer a lace bomber or kimono and add lace patterned heels)

I love how the jeans jacket makes this dress look so much more casual, but I have always been a fan of pairing dresses with a simple jacket. You look so lovely! Blessings!
