I went to a house party in NW Portland on Saturday night with the hubs and a couple of our friends. It was fun! I always forget how fun house parties can be, without the crazy crowds and lines. Anywho, as October is coming to a close I want to share with you all my October Beauty Favorites that I’ve been obsessed with this past month! These are my every day go-to, my 100%100%100%, my ride or die b!tches that I seriously could not live without, and I’m pretty confident you guys will LOVE them too! Also, make sure you read until the very end because I’m going to be talking about a little giveaway that I may or may not be having 😉
1. bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream – OK, I know I sound like a broken record because I talk about this product ALL THE TIME, but it is seriously THAT GOOD! It’s pretty much a miracle product. It goes on the skin really well, it’s not heavy whatsoever and it leaves a dewy and glowy finish. I was nervous when I first started trying it because I have oily skin, but I just put a little translucent powder over my t-zone and I’m good to go all day long. I’ve also always hated tinted moisturizers, which is another reason why I was nervous to try this product, but this is different. This product really evens out my skin tone, and it comes in so many colors with neutral, pink, and yellow undertones so you can find your perfect match! I also love it because it is one of those products that makes my skin appear healthier even when I take it off.
***TIP! I used to apply this product with the Precision Face Brush from bareMinerals, which works perfectly fine and I still sometimes use it, although the one downside is that it can look a tiny bit streaky if you aren’t careful. If I use this brush I try to alternate swiping and buffing motions so that the product really gets in to my skin and doesn’t leave any streaks. Now however, I apply this with a Beauty Blender because I love the finish that it provides.
2. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant – this stuff is the best daily exfoliating product I’ve ever used (and yes, I still feel like a broken record). It’s perfect because it is very gentle, so you can use it every day without over-exfoliating your skin. The best part though? It’s a powder that turns into a foam when activated with water, so you can take the full size bottle with you and TSA won’t freak out (hell yeah!).
3. Urban Decay Naked Basics #2 – I am obsessed with this eye shadow palette! The colors are the perfect cool toned neutrals to really master that natural smokey eye look. It’s a tad on the spendy side compared with the full sized Naked palettes, but if you don’t want to go all out or just want to start with the basics like me, then it’s perfect! I actually kind of prefer it even though it’s spendy because it can fit in a travel pouch, so I can take it with me wherever I go!
4. bareMinerals TRUE OASIS Oil-Free Replenishing Gel Cream – this is my new favorite moisturizer! I love it because it is a gel moisturizer, so it is water based rather than oil based (better for oily and acne prone skin). It adds the perfect amount of hydration to my face without causing me to be oily or to break out. Also, I think it’s just me cause my husband hates it, but I LOVE the smell! It’s so fresh and clean and yummy smelling!
5. bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Acne Treatment Gelee Cleanser – I really like this cleanser because it helps clear my face of excess oil. I have pretty oily skin in my t-zone area, so using an oil free cleanser is very helpful for my acne issues. This one also makes my skin feel so tight and fresh after I use it, it’s like a little mini tightening facial 🙂

I’ve tried the bare minerals gel moisturizer before as well and to be honest i really like it at first, but after using it for a bit it started to break out my skin! Did you experience this at all? https://moisturizers.com/bareminerals-true-oasis-oil-free-replenishing-gel-cream-review/
Hmm I didn’t notice any breakouts with my skin, but I’ve recently switched to the Neutrogena moisturizer!
