Hello lovelies! Today’s post is gonna be a bit different. I really wanted to take a moment to let you guys in on a little bit more personal aspect of my life and tell you a little about my love, a.k.a. my husband!
We’re gonna do this list style cause, you know, I just really like lists lol ๐ So without further ado, here are 10 facts about my husband (a.k.a. my love) and I!
10 Things I Love About My Love ๐
- My husband’s name is Eihab and his family is from Sudan.
- We met at “Wing Night” at a local college spot in Portland, Oregon. I was immediately attracted to him (it’s the hair ๐ lol).
- Our first trip together was to San Diego for a long weekend (it was also my first time in SD!)
- One of our favorite things to do together is play Cribbage! This is a tradition for my family; my brother and I grew up playing cribbage, and so did my mom and her family.
- My favorite thing about my husband is how much he cares for others. He will literally help anyone out who needs it without thinking about how it will impact him whatsoever. Witnessing this in him is one of the reasons why I knew he was the one!
- Eihab is a HUGE soccer guy, and he married someone who had never even seen a soccer game before meeting him lol.
- So you guys probably know that I’m a pretty quirky person, and I can definitely be a weirdo (you can frequently find me lurking around the house singing to my cat, Nora…). And even though Eihab comes off as quiet and reserved, he’s just as weird and silly as me ๐
- Weย are both the oldest of our siblings (I have 1, he has 2 siblings).
- Eihab is a total cradle robber, I’m 10 years younger than him! ๐
- Eihab proposed to me totally out of the blue! He actually picked me up after work and told me we were going to go “do something fun.” I was ravenous and was getting really annoyed because as we were driving, we were passing all of my favorite restaurants…eventually, we arrived at the Pittock Mansion (a really old historic mansion that overlooks downtown Portland), and the first words out of my mouth were “I didn’t know we could eat here?” Of course he said we could, but instead of taking me inside, he brought me around to the back to where the view is (mind you, it’s the middle of winter and freaking COLD!). He was being really sweet and cute, and when we got to the edge, I saw that the fence had “Marry Me” spelled out with red roses. I didn’t want to start freaking out in case they weren’t for me lol but then Eihab said “do you see that?” I said “uhh…yeah?” Then he got down on one knee and proposed! It was very cute, and definitely makes me smile when I think about it!
I hope you guys enjoyed a little peak into my loveย and I’s relationship! Let me know in the comments if you guys enjoy posts like this and I’ll try to do more!

B
