Today I want to talk to you lovelies about the “other white dress.” We spend soo much time searching for the perfect dress for the wedding, but what about the other bridal events? Have you thought about what to wear for your Engagement Party, Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Rehearsal Dinner…the list can go on! I had 4 different white dresses for each of my bridal events, and I’ll admit, I had to buy them on a whim! I didn’t plan ahead and found myself running around searching for the perfect little white dress, so I’m hoping this post gives you some inspiration on what to wear to your own bridal event!

Best Little White Dress for Bridal Events
I’ve been obsessed with this dress ever since I saw it at Francesca’s (available here), and I’ve already worn it twice! It’s literally the best lace dress I’ve ever owned, and for a few reasons. When I bought this little white dress, I originally intended to wear it to the Portland Derby (since I’m already married). I ended up going to a nice dinner with Eihab instead, and it worked perfect for our date night! I think versatility is the most important aspect when looking for the perfect little white dress. I can wear this one to a day party (just throw on a fun summer hat, like this one here), or on a date with my man 🙂 I could totally see this dress being perfect for my friend to borrow for her Bridal Shower too!
I also really love the length of this dress! It’s important for me to wear a dress or skirt that hits right at the point in my thighs where there is the widest gap #thighgapfaker. However, since I have 3 mile long legs, anything short looks extra short on me! This dress is short, but it has an extra 2 inches of tulle, so you can still see my (fake) thigh gap, but the tulle adds some length. This would be perfect to wear for a bridal event, because it’s classy and sexy at the same time!
When I picked out my bridal event dresses, I had a hard time because I waited until the last minute. You know how when you’re looking for that specific item for an event, no matter how hard you look you just. can’t. find it? Well, that’s what happened to me, and I totally wish I had found this dress, because it’s perfect for a bridal event! It’s so flattering, the lace detail is gorgeous, and it’s a dress you’ll be able to wear later too!
To complete my look, I wore my favorite block heeled pumps from Nordstrom (available here). These Marc Fisher beauties are my favorite pair of white heels lately! They’re perfect for any kind of bridal event (including the wedding!) because they’re classy, comfortable, and easy to walk in, but you can definitely wear them after the wedding as well!
