We all have our go-to stores, right? Like, for example, if I just want to meander aimlessly while sipping my grande vanilla soy latte, I go to Target (who’s with me???). I also have a few select stores I always check out when I’m looking for affordable fashion pieces. Each one holds something unique, and I visit them when I’m looking for specific items.

It’s kind of crazy that the stores I love to shop at for affordable fashion items are also the ones it takes the longest to sift through…you know, the stores where there doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to the layout? It’s annoying and can seem overwhelming, but if you go in with the mindset of “I’m looking for jeans” (or whatever), it becomes much more manageable.
Where I Shop for Affordable Fashion
- Nordstrom Rack – I’m pretty much obsessed with Nordstrom Rack. I love to shop their shoe section as well as the clothes. I recently purchased a really cute pumpkin spice colored open-front sweater, and a fitted black blazer. This is where I shop when I am looking for quality pieces, both trendy and staple.
- Burlington Coat Factory – I love Burlington for all things baby. They have the best selection of baby clothes, accessories, and gear, and the prices can’t be beat! Last time I was there I bought $60 worth of baby clothes and I got SO. MUCH. STUFF.
- TJ Maxx – Even though TJ Maxx has tons of affordable fashion items, I usually only stop in there when I’m looking for shoes.
- Ross – Ross is hit or miss for me, but I love checking out their shoe section (I got this pair of Coach flats for 50% off!) and their winter coats are usually really well stocked and affordable (this is the one I found last year for a great price!).
- Lulu’s – OK, if you haven’t heard me talking about Lulu’s before, where have you been?! This is my ride or die online boutique. I love shopping their pop-up sales, last time I got these fun pants for for $15!
- ASOS – Last but not least, ASOS. When I was pregnant I was all about their maternity section (finding cute maternity clothes is near impossible, for some reason brands think pregnant women don’t want to look cute anymore…). ASOS has a lot of my trendy pieces and it’s reeeeal easy to blow your money on all the cute stuff, so I usually shop there when I’m looking for a specific item.
Where do you shop for affordable fashion? Let me know your #1 ride or die store in the comments!

Not kidding: last time we left Target, my toddler said, “Bye, Target! See you tomorrow!” Lol. I guess I go there a lot. They’re clothing section has been great lately. And I love Asos. Great list!

Haha that’s too cute! I prefer to go to Target without my baby so I can spend at least an hour looking at things I don’t need lol.
