Looking to try something sweet in NYC? My first visit to New York was filled with trying the local delicacies. Here are a few dessert spots that I absolutely love and that you need to check out!
My Favorite Dessert Spots in NYC
La Maison Du Chocolat – this spot was located inside the Rockefeller Center. My friend Lisa and I were waiting for her cousin to arrive and just really needed something sweet! We got some yummy French Macarons and some caramel chocolate. These macarons were rich and cakey and had a delicious ganache filling!
Baked by Melissa – we actually went here twice, once over by Little Italy and the second time at JFK. This place had little mini cupcakes (which were bomb) and mini bite sized French Macarons.
Mo il Gelato – this little gelato place was AMAZING! Definitely the best gelato I’ve ever had. I got the mango flavor and also the Stracciatella, which is a sweet milk with chocolate chunks. I was a little hesitant but I’m so glad I tried this flavor because it was delicious.
Random French Macaron street vendor – I AM SO MAD AT MYSELF FOR NOT GETTING THIS LADIES INFO!!!!! These were, by far, the best French Macarons that I got to try in NYC. They were so delicious, and the texture was just perfect! She’s located on Mulberry Street near MO Il Gelato, so if you guys find yourself over that way, DEFINITELY check to see if she’s there cause these puppies are so worth it!
