What is summer without the perfect swimsuit? I don’t know why, but I own like, over 10 different bikinis and swimsuits (it’s kind of a problem). Every summer I always feel like I need a new one for the season! Here are a few of my favorites for this summer!

1. Scalloped Details

 

This summer, it’s all about the girly and flirty details, while at the same time, keeping things basic! I don’t know if you guys follow Marianna Hewitt’s blog LifeWithMe.com, but she wears the cutest scalloped bikinis from Marysia Swim in some of her posts lately! Now I personally can’t afford a $136.00 bikini like the one above, but Old Navy has some really cute ones in this exact style, so if you’re on a budget (like me) I suggest you check out Old Navy for this scalloped bikini 🙂 (direct link here)

2. The One-Piece

I am loving one-piece swimsuits lately, but unfortunately, I can rarely ever find one that fits! I have a longer torso and more of an athletic shape, and I find that one-pieces sometimes make me look even more boxy and shapeless. However…this strapless one-piece from Victoria’s Secret is SO CUTE and FLATTERING! (Similar here, and here) I was skeptical when I first saw it thinking “that will never look good on me!” But my mom made me try it on and OH MY GOSH it was perfect! But stupid me, I didn’t want to spend the money so I didn’t buy it, and now I’ve been trying to find it and can’t! I found one on Poshmark that is a size Medium, but the one I tried on in the store was a Large…I’ve lost about 10 pounds so a Medium miiiiight fit me, but I’m hesitant… So if anyone knows where I can get this swimsuit in a size Large, please, please let me know!

3. Sporty

I really love how minimal these sporty and color block swimsuits are! I think the minimalist look is totally coming back and let me tell you, I’m loving it! It can sometimes be hard to achieve that perfect minimalist look without looking to terribly plain and boring, but these swimsuits here definitely do the trick!

4. High Waist

High waisted bikinis are sooo flattering if you are curvy. I have one from Victoria’s Secret in white and even though it is white, it still makes me feel better about walking around in a bikini. The front is also somewhat rouched so it is very forgiving. Old Navy also has some high waisted bikini bottoms that are really cute here!
