One of my longest and most annoying skin concerns has been my pores. I’d consider them to be pretty big but also super tight, so they tend to hold a lot of dirt and get clogged easily. I’ve done the hear and there charcoal mask and exfoliating (and sometimes popping and picking…), but as it never made much of a difference, I just assumed it was a problem I would always have. Well, LET ME TELL YOU. I recently started using two products that have made an enormous difference to my enlarged pores and blackheads! I’m literally shook you guys.

Say “Bye-Bye” to Enlarged Pores and Blackheads!
You know when you get a new beauty product that’s been hyped up but you don’t really expect to like it all that much. Well I’ll admit, I was skeptical when I first got the Bioré Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner and Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. I thought “oh suuuure…another pore strips that will ‘get rid of my blackheads.’” But OMG. I never to love it and to have such amazing results! I’ve always struggled with clogged pores, enlarged pores and blackheads. I’d do the occasional treatment but since not much helped, I just kind of accepted it. But now that I’ve found these Bioré products, I’ve got the utmost confidence that enarlged pores and blackheads will no longer be a forever problem for me! If you struggle with this as well, then keep reading because I’m going to share how I use the products for maximum results in the step-by-step tutorial below! Also, be sure to check out this video where I demonstrate how easy they are to use!
Step 1: Start with a clean face
I like to use my Bioré products at night. Since these two contain witch hazel (an astringent) you might experience a bit of dryness after using them. I typically do get dry skin and I use my richest creams at night, so it just makes sense for me to treat me enlarged pores and blackheads at night as well. My first step before I can use my Bioré products is to cleanse my face! It’s important to always start with clean skin, so use whatever cleanser you like to wash the day away!
Step 2: Deep cleansing
Right after you wash your face is when you want to apply your Bioré Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. Be sure you still have some water on your nose that way the strip has something to adhere to, and then leave it on for about 15 minutes or so. ***PRO TIP: If you steam your pores before applying the strip they will be extra open and receptive to the deep cleansing! I haven’t tried this myself but it’s on my agenda for tonight 🙂
Now, let me just tell you my thoughts on these pore strips. I’ve used other brands before only to be disappointed by the results. Either I would have weird residue left on my skin after peeling the strip off, or I wouldn’t see much results. Well, that isn’t the case with the Bioré Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. I’ve already used them three times this week and I see results EVERY TIME. At the rate I’m going I’ll have to hit up Walmart.com this weekend to get a new pack!
Step 3: Tone
I may have mentioned before but toner isn’t a product I’ve typically included in my skincare routine. Maybe I just hadn’t found one I liked, maybe I’m just lazy, who knows, but it’s a step I’ve skipped for years. Now that I’m hooked on the Bioré Witch Hazel Pore Clarifying Toner, I will NOT be skipping this step ever again! After just two applications, I can see a noticeable difference in my pores. They definitely look and feel smaller/tighter and I’m LOVING it! The way I use it is I soak a cotton round with the toner and then gently rub it over my t-zone areas (after remove the strip of course). Then once it dries I put on a liberal layer of night moisturizer to combat any dryness I may experience from the witch hazel and voilà!
Have you tried any products with witch hazel in them? I never had before, except for the witch hazel pads they give you after you give birth LOL. But I’m sooo glad I found these pore strips and toner because it’s been a game changer for me! Let me know in the comments if you want to give these products a try!

I love Biore’s charcoal pore strips so I’ll have to try these too! I’m also guilty of skipping toner but if it really helps minimize pores, I might give it a try.

I haven’t tried that one, I will have to give it a go!

Yes, I was really glad to learn about the Witch Hazel toner!

I will have to try that tip of using steam first to open up my pores. I also had the same experience with other brands. Hopefully, Biore would change my thoughts on using nose strips.
Brittany Nicole says
It definitely helps a lot if your pores are nice and open!

I love a few of Biore skincare products. I might have to check out the witch hazel toner. I’m out of my current toner so this might be worth trying.
