Happy Friday lovelies! I’ve been really lucky throughout my blogging journey to get to meet and connect with other creatives in the industry. I think the meeting new people and learning from them is one of my favorite parts about being a blogger (other than sharing with you guys, of course 😉 )! That’s why I’m really excited to team up with Rachel Cossette from the personal style blog One Pot Slop for this post! We both spent a little time in each other’s closet and styled each other for a brunch/shopping date, and I love this boho outfit she put together for me 🙂

I’m going to hand it over to Rachel to talk about why she chose this boho outfit for me, and don’t forget to click the picture above to head over to One Pot Slop and see how I styled her!
Hi guys! I’m Rachel from One Pot Slop and blogger wifey to Brittany LOL I styled this look for her keeping a “brunch with the girls” vibe in mind. I went with a pair of trendy distressed denim that make her booty look good because naturally, and added a fun feminine top and statement making flatforms. Add some fun jewelry and you’re set for meeting your girlies. I think this boho outfit is laid back and casual, but it also looks put together without trying too hard.
I have to say when I first saw these shoes in a picture I thought they were ugly granny shoes, then I saw them in person and completely fell in love so I always want her to wear them now! Lol
Thank you Brittany for letting me take over The B-List for a day! If you want to get to know me a bit more below are 10 things about me. You can also see how she styled me on my blog post today and if we aren’t already social friends come follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter @onepotslop!
What are your nicknames? – Cheech, my oldest sister just started calling me that one day in middle school and it stuck.
Who do you envy and why? – Any travel blogger that gets to travel internationally all. the. time.
What is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do? – The hardest thing I’ve ever done is evolving into a stronger, more emotionally intelligent person. I know that sounds like some serious BS self-help cliché, but honestly over coming pain, hurt, fear, loneliness, by caring for myself and realizing no one knows how to make me happier than I do, and how I feel about something is valid whether someone else wants to recognize it or not, was a process and it was the hardest and most rewarding struggle that will continue my whole life. Know your worth, know what makes you happy, and don’t ever relinquish your happiness for someone else’s.
What are the top three cities in the world that you would like to visit one day? – Cairo, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Paris, Prague, London, Budapest, Singapore, Pattaya City… if you group them in 3’s it’s only 3 LOL (and we can’t forget Dublin, Tulum, and Sydney lol)
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? – Thank you very much for subjecting me to this question Brittany LOL in 10 years I hope to have an awesome husband that I’ve gained at least 15 new passport stamps with, a beautiful home with a large “cloffice” I can run my full time blog out of, a dog, 2 kids, and an ability to eat 3 whole pizzas a week and not gain weight. #jealous?
What is the one thing you’re most proud of? – This is definitely the hardest question. I think if I had to pick one thing it would be my blog. Creating and curating One Pot Slop has kept me inspired, motivated, and made me a more disciplined person.
What is your least favorite thing about yourself? – My least favorite thing about myself is my ability to be a bit selfish and uncompassionate at times. I’ve gotten better though because my honey is a very compassionate man and he’s rubbed off on me a bit!
Sunrise or Sunset? – hmmm I’m more of a morning person so you would think sunrise, which I do love a gorgeous sunrise to start my day, but I’m going to have to go with Sunset because it’s just as gorgeous but as a romantic at heart I can’t resist.
Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend? – LOL I would say yes 8 out of 10 times, but I always feel guilty if I haven’t talked to or seen my friends in a while. I try to make sure they know how special they are to me but you can always be a better partner, friend and person.
What was the last text you sent? – “Where do I see myself in 10 years… you bitch [insert exacerbated emoji here]” – sent to Brittany of course because you aren’t really besties till you throw out the B word lol #IhaveasailormouthIRL
What do you guys think about this boho oufit on me? I think it is definitely my style and something I would totally wear! Be sure to leave Rachel a note in the comments, and click here to check out her blog and how I styled her!
