Picking out my wedding flowers was hard for me because 1.) I’m not very knowledgeable on the subject, and 2.) all I knew I liked was peonies. Well, I ended up having a September wedding and got a wake up call when I found out peonies wouldn’t be in season in the PNW. If I wanted them in my wedding I was going to have to purchase them from an indoor greenhouse and they would be MUCH more expensive. So, back to drawing board I went! Here’s what I found works well per month and season in the PNW.

You can also incorporate greenery into your wedding flowers. I love the look of succulents and used Lamb’s Ear in my bouquets as well. If you’re just starting out planning your wedding, take a look at this starter post.
