Do you enjoy trying on swimsuits? If you do, you are some sort of confidence queen cause I absolutely abhor it. Now that I have this new set of hips it’s been hard for me to guess my size, and there’s nothing like standing under some fluorescent lights in the wrong size bikini to knock your confidence down a peg. I’ve taken to ordering my swimsuits online. Since I did a lot of swimsuit shopping for my Vegas trip I actually found a ton of really cute swimsuits for postpartum mom bods, and I’ve shared all my finds below! Comment your favorite!

Flattering Swimsuits for Postpartum Bodies

As a general rule of thumb now that I’m postpartum, I tend to lean towards high waisted swimsuits. I have some loose lower ab muscles and flabby skin on my lower abdomen, so high waisted really helps me to feel confident in a bikini. I have both a high leg, high waisted bikini as well as your traditional full coverage bottom, high waisted bikini. I love them both, but the high leg definitely makes me feed a tad sexier 😉

If bikinis aren’t really your thing, there are tons of one piece options! Any one piece that has ruching is going to be very flattering and help hide anything extra around the middle. Lately I’ve been shopping a lot for swimsuits, and my favorite places to do so are all online. I purchased two traditional high waisted bikinis from Amazon for my trip to Las Vegas a few weeks back (if you want to see my full Las Vegas Style Guide, click here!), and I’m obsessed with them! They are so cute, comfortable, and affordable. I was actually really skeptical about buying from Amazon just because I didn’t know how the sizes where going to fit, but it worked out really well for me.

I also purchased a couple of high cut, high waisted bikinis while in Las Vegas from Aerie. This was my first time ever shopping at Aerie, and I can officially say they hooked me. I am shook at how flattering the bikinis were on my postpartum body! I also felt like the sizes were very TTS (I purchased mediums in the bottoms and a large in the top). My favorite is this cute star print bikini, which will also be great for the 4th of July!
