Well I am officially 33 weeks pregnant and shit’s gettin’ real. I feel like I’m at that point in pregnancy where I’m just over it lol. I’m uncomfortable pretty much all the time, I either have arthritis in my hands or I’ve developed carpal tunnel syndrome (can’t tell yet), and it’s 95 degrees outside, which means it feels like 195 to me. All jokes and complaining aside though, I’m getting more and more excited at Baby Girl’s arrival! With only 5-9 weeks to go, I’ve also been thinking about things I still want to do before she makes her appearance. I’ve even put together a “before baby” summer bucket list of 10 things I’d love to do in the next month and a half. Who thinks I’ll be able to accomplish all of these???

10 Summer Activities to do Before Baby Arrives
- Spend the day at the beach – we live about an hour and a half from the Oregon Coast, and I’d love to go out there for the day with my hubby and just relax, walk on beach, and eat some good seafood!
- Get professional maternity photos taken – one of the best parts about being huge and swollen? A new reason to get photos taken haha.
- Finish knitting a blanket – I’ve been wanting to make a blanket for Baby Girl for months now, but I find it’s most fun to knit when it’s cold out lol. But I really want to finish it before she arrives!
- Indulge in (almost) all of my prego cravings! Once Baby Girl is born, it’s back to eating healthy for me, so in the meantime, I want to eat all the ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and Reese’s possible.
- Spend an entire day doing absolutely nothing on the couch with Eihab – I have a feeling lazy days with no responsibilities will be few and far between very soon…
- Get a wax – let’s be honest, being pregnant is pretty much an excuse to let things go down there, if you know what I mean. #OuttaSightOuttaMind But I really don’t want to go back and watch a video of Baby Girl being born and scream in horror lol.
- Go to the movies on a whim – the hubs and I actually did this last week and it was GREAT. I definitely want to take advantage of our quality time in the next month and a half.
- Write a letter – I really want to to write Baby Girl a letter for her to open on her 18th birthday.
- Snuggle Nora – she’s starting to get pretty old and I don’t want her to feel neglected once Baby Girl comes. She’s like my fur daughter and I want to give her all the snuggles while she’s still an only child lol.
- Have a picnic with Eihab – In all the time we’ve been together (almost 6 years), we’ve never actually been on a picnic together.
Is there anything you think think we should do before Baby Girl arrives?? Let me know in the comments below!

UGH girl I wish LOL something about having a small person inside you really kills the mood (or maybe it’s the crazy hormones LOL).

When I was pregnant I was in the mood ALL THE TIME. That’s not normally me, but like you said…something about those hormones.

I love this different kind of bucket list. I wish I did these when I was pregnant with my kids! Too late now, No longer in that reproductive age. I’ll share this with friends and family. Wishing you a safe delivery too!
