OMG you guys, we are getting SO close to meeting our Baby Girl! Today I’m 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant, so one more day and I’ll be full term! I can’t believe it’s finally here. What I Love About Basic Invite
The only other time in my life that I’ve ordered custom invitations was for my wedding, and I’m currently kicking myself that I didn’t know about Basic Invite back then! The result? Ordering “custom” wedding invitations that weren’t custom at all…). You can literally change the color of each element of your design to over 180 different color options. How freaking awesome is that???
- Custom samples – I wasn’t sure exactly the look I was going for with Baby Girls’ birth announcements, so I loved being able to order fully customized samples for my husband and I to check out and choose from!
- Did I mention the color options? Cause they apply to envelopes as well! Basic Invite offers 40 different color envelopes to choose from, and they’re all peel and seal (no licking necessary)!
- You can make your designs a little “extra” with foil! I loove how beautiful an announcement, invite, or business card looks with a foil accent. Basic Invite offers foil cards in gold, silver and rose gold (oh hello!).
- Address capturing service – OK, this is quite possible the BEST part about Basic Invite. As someone who addressed ALL of her Save the Dates, wedding invitations, and thank you cards (for the wedding AND two baby showers), I can’t express enough how much of a time saver this service is. Also, this service is 100% free on all Christmas card orders, so you better believe I’ll be ordering my holiday photo cards from Basic Invite!
Now that I’ve ordered my sample birth announcements, I’m really excited to choose the one that fits our family the best. Baby Girl could really come anytime, so it’s a good things I got this head start and found Basic Invite! I’ve also really been wanting to order new business cards now that I’ve changed my Instagram handle and updated my website a bit, and I’ll definitely be getting them from Basic Invite.
I really love this design or this one here, I can’t decide…what do you guys think? It’s so hard to choose from all the beautiful business cards available on the Basic Invite website! Those are soooo beautiful! That’s one thing I really regret… I never did get announcements out or professional newborn phones done for my girl. It’s sad.
I think if I hadn’t gotten around to getting mine prepped early it would be harder. Now that I know exactly what I want though, it will hopefully actually get done once she’s here lol #fingerscrossed
