Happy Monday b-list fam! This week is going to be another 4 day week for me and I am SO excited, I wish I could have 4 day weeks every week (better yet, can I just work 2 days and have 5 off? Raise you’re hand if you’re on board!). I’ve also been getting back into my work out routine (check back on Wednesday for more details on that!), so I’ve been trying to stick to a pretty good meal plan as well… but sometimes you just need a cheat day, you know? And what’s better to chow down on during cheat day than pizza?? Nothing. Add a beer or some yummy cider, and it’s the perfect cheat day meal. In honor of my undying love for pizza, I thought I’d share this super cute and comfy outfit I actually wore to grab pizza with my friend Rachel from One Pot Slop a few weeks back! It’s cute and trendy, but includes jeggings so you can eat all the pizza and not feel like a stuffed sausage 😉 Leave a comment below if you’re as obsessed with pizza as I am!!!
Since the weather was pretty cold and I generally have to walk a ways after finding somewhere to park, I knew I wanted to wear my Michael Kors wool blend coat because it’s nice and warm and cozy, but also still fitted in the waist so it gives my body some shape when wearing it. It’s also available in different colors here!
The orange and blue scarf that I wore was soooo warm and cozy! I love that if it’s windy I can pull it up over my head and hide lol. The color is also perfect for fall and winter! I have the same one in blue but there’s something about this orange color that I’m drawn too 🙂 Similar here!
Since I’m definitely not the type of person who’s just going to get all super dressed up to grab pizza, and I also value being comfortable above all else, I decided on just a plain white t-shirt from H&M (here), and black skinny jeggings from Express. I absolutely LOVE these jeggings you guys! They are high waisted, long enough for my legs without having to search around for a size ‘long,’ and the rips in the knees add a casual vibe! They’re available here!
I love pairing these jeggings with my Franco Sarto loafer flats as well (available here), cause they’re comfortable and easy to just slip on when I’m running late (which is like, always). To add a little detail to the look I paired a black leather choker from Express to the look (available here). I know we’re starting to move away from black leather chokers in 2017, but I still love them!
Last but not least, I decided to add a little glam to the look, cause you never know, you may end up going out to a fun bar or meet up with your SO after pizza 😉 I love this little purse because I can tuck the chain in to the bag and wear it as a clutch. It’s also all neutral so it’s doesn’t draw too much attention. I actually wore this clutch to my wedding so it holds a special place in my heart as well 🙂 There’s a few really cute and similar versions here!
OK, so now I reeeeally want pizza lol I think tonight Eihab and I are going to get something easy like takeout and watch the Golden Globes from last night 🙂 Did you guys watch? Comment below and let me know, but no spoilers please!!! 😛
