Hello loves!
Fall is officially here in Portland! I’ve been trying to remain in denial for the past week or so, wishing for a few more sunny days but alas, it really is Fall. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Fall is my most favorite season ever! The leaves changing colors, comfy sweaters, boots, trips to the pumpkin patch…it’s a magical time of year! Buut…after two weeks in warm, sunny Italy, coming back to cold damp weather is a little hard for me to swallow!
To make myself feel a little better about knowing it’ll be a long 9 months before I get to wear shorts and a bikini top again, I decided to keep my look for this shoot colorful with a printed scarf and a coral blush top from Old Navy.
I love the detail along the hem of this blouse because it adds some texture and fun to a plain blouse (available here, and also available in white!). I also sported my favorite wallet from Coach for this look (similar here). I love how small this wristlet is, but it still has enough space for all of my cards, cash, and cell phone!
I also am in love with rose gold lately, and this rose gold necklace from Stella & Dot is one of my favs! It’s very simple so you can wear it casually or for a night out! This necklace actually came in a set (available here), and what’s pretty neat about Stella & Dot is that a lot of their stuff can be worn in different ways. This necklace can be connected with others to make a tiered/layered look, for example.
For the shoes I decided on my nude wrap up flats that I got a a small boutique in NW Portland, Ether. They were on clearance for only $15.00!!! I couldn’t believe it! I’m the type that will hold out and wait to buy something that I want until I can get it on sale, and I was so stoked to find these for so cheap! They run small, so I went up a size from a 7.5 to an 8.5, and they’re so comfy! Definitely worth the wait 🙂
The jeans I’m wearing are actually Levi’s 711 skinny jeans (available here). They’re a little too big for me now that I’ve lost almost 25 pounds, but they’re so comfy that I’ve been wearing them anyways. I’m also wearing a super cozy knit cardigan from Old Navy that is going to be my go-to sweater for fall! It’s the perfect not-too-thick-but-not-too-thin sweater for the season! Similar here.
I hope you guys liked this look! What are you all wearing to transition from summer to fall? Leave me some ideas in the comments! Also, be sure to head on over to my girl Rachel’s blog One Pot Slop for more fashion advise!
