Neutrogena Makeup Essentials

1. Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint – this foundation is so lightweight and hydrating, it’s perfect for my dry skin! I love that is contains hyaluronic acid to boost my skin. It’s quickly become one of my favorite foundations!
2. Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Concealer – the concealer is even better than I imagined! When I first tried it out, I was amazed at how creamy, hydrating, and blendable it was! It’s a great every day concealer!
3. Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine – I’m the worst when it comes to wearing lip color, it’s usually the part that I skip. But this lip shine from Neutrogena is great because it provides just the right hint of color and shine, and leaves my lips looking plump and hydrated!
4. Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment – lip treatments have been on my makeup essentials list for forever. I literally use one every day, and this one is so nice! It feels like I’m putting the most hydrating cocoa butter on my lips 🙂 And it’s also extremely affordable, unlike some other popular brands!

My Current Makeup Routine

I incorporate each product from my makeup essentials list into my daily makeup routine. In general, what’s important to me when it comes to makeup is 1.) good for my skin, and 2.) no fuss. That’s why I love these Neutrogena products! The Hydro Boost line contains hyaluronic acid, and the new formula is extremely nourishing. It’s almost like the makeup is better for your skin than going bare faced! The first step in my current makeup routine is to moisturize. Also, don’t forget about the lips! I use the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment while I apply my makeup! The second step for me is to go right in with my foundation. I love using the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint in shade #30 Buff for an all-over hydrated complexion. The foundation is light coverage, but very easy to build!

Next, I go in with my concealer. I use the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Concealer in shade #20 Light in a triangle underneath my eyes, on my forehead, and to hide any pesky blemishes. I am in LOVE with this concealer ladies! It is SO creamy and hydrating. Any concealer that doesn’t cling to my fine lines automatically goes on the makeup essentials list! Once I’ve got all my creams on, I always bake my face. LOL, I know that probably sounds weird, but it works for me. While my face is baking (seriously, I’ll never not laugh when I read that haha), I fill in my brows and do my contour. Once that’s done, I just dust away the excess powder with a fluffy brush, and I’m down to the last three steps!

My third step is to finish my brows with some clear brow gel. I have the world’s longest eyebrow hairs, so taming them is a MUST for me! The fourth step is mascara. I usually apply one coat for daytime, and two for night. And last but not least, the lips! If I’m wearing a cream lip product, I’ll put it on my lips, wipe the excess off with a finger, and dab that on my cheeks as blush. If I’m wearing something a bit stickier in consistency, like the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine (which I have in shade #30 Flushed Coral and love!), then I’ll just apply to my lips only.
