Welcome back to another Monday and another Office Outfit Inspiration post! Did everyone have a nice weekend? The weather here in Portland is absolutely beautiful and I’ve been drinking up the sun! In light of this new found loveliness, today I’m sharing my top 5 floral print dresses that are great for work!

Some of you may have seen this dress last week on my Insta Stories (if you’re not following me on IG, click here!). I like to break this blue and white floral printed dress from Calvin Klein out when the weather gets nice because it’s just so pretty and perfect for work.

There are a couple qualities that I always look for when purchasing a dress for work. Since I work in a healthcare office, I want my clothes to look like quality pieces, so I always focus on the fabric. The fabric of this dress is almost like a scuba dress. It’s thicker, but very soft and structured. The fit is also very important for me. I don’t want my work dresses to be too tight (we aren’t going clubbing, ladies!), but I want it to be flattering. I usually opt for an a-line or full-skirt, and I like the length to be at least right at the top of the knee, or maybe an inch above. I’ve found that if I follow those three rules (quality fabric, good fit, knee-length), then I have no trouble finding nice dresses for the office!

I usually keep my accessories pretty simple for work. A watch and a pair of earrings are pretty much all I wear as far as jewelry goes. For my purse, I like something I can easily throw in my “life bag” that I keep my planner, notebooks, and laptop in, so a little white Kate Spade crossbody (stolen from blogger bae Rachel from One Pot Slop‘s closet) is perfect!
